Cockroach Exterminator & Control Services
You turn on the kitchen light at midnight and see them scatter along the backsplash. If you see one German cockroach during the day, there are likely hundreds more hiding behind your refrigerator motor, inside your dishwasher chassis, and multiplying behind your baseboards.
Pestisect offers relentless, targeted cockroach extermination across the GTA. We abandon the outdated method of spraying baseboards and instead use professional gel bait transfer protocols to kill the entire population at the source — without requiring you to empty every drawer in your kitchen.

The German Cockroach: Why Your Home is Vulnerable
In Toronto, Mississauga, and Brampton, the German Cockroach (Blattella germanica) is the primary infesting species. Unlike outdoor roaches, this species cannot survive the Canadian winter outside. They rely entirely on human habitation for survival and spread rapidly through apartment buildings via shared plumbing chases.
German roaches reproduce explosively. A single female carries an egg capsule (ootheca) containing up to 40 eggs. She drops it just before it hatches, leading to an exponential population boom every three weeks.
- A single pair of German cockroaches can produce up to 30,000 offspring in a single year under ideal conditions.
- Cockroaches are a major source of indoor allergens; their shed skins and droppings trigger severe asthma attacks in children.
- German cockroaches are thigmotactic, meaning they prefer to rest in very tight spaces where their backs and bellies touch solid surfaces.
Store sprays
Why Grocery Store Sprays Make It Worse
It only kills what you see
The spray kills the two roaches walking on the counter, but does absolutely nothing to the 200 roaches breeding inside the motor of your refrigerator.
It repels the colony
The chemical residue left behind smells toxic to the roaches. They learn to avoid those areas and simply migrate deeper into the walls, or move into your bedroom and bathroom where you haven't sprayed.
It ruins professional treatments
If you spray consumer repellant, you contaminate the area. When a professional arrives later and applies edible roach bait, the roaches will refuse to eat it because it smells like cheap poison.
Cockroach Extermination Process
The Pestisect Gel Bait Protocol
Inspection & Flushing
We locate the core nesting sites (harborages). Cockroaches love dark, warm electronics. We inspect behind the fridge, the stove, the dishwasher, inside the microwave motor, and under the sink where the pipes enter the wall.
Advanced Gel Bait Application
Instead of laying down a curtain of spray, we apply dozens of microscopic drops of professional, commercial-grade gel bait exactly where the roaches nest. The Transfer Effect: The roach eats the bait but does not die instantly. It returns to the nest and dies. Because cockroaches are cannibalistic and coprophagic (they eat each other's droppings), the other roaches consume the bait through the dead roach. This cascading "domino effect" wipes out the colony from the inside.
Insect Growth Regulators (IGRs)
We often deploy IGRs — hormone analogues that stunt the development of juvenile roaches. Even if nymphs survive the initial baiting, the IGR renders them sterile, meaning they cannot breed and the colony collapses permanently.
Dust Injection in Plumbing Chases
In multi-unit condos and townhomes, cockroaches travel between apartments via the gaps around plumbing pipes. We inject insecticidal dust into these wall voids to stop neighbor roaches from continually re-infesting your clean unit.
